Pink Radicchio

Description: The head is narrow, elongated and not very compact. It can be left closed or marketed open after a manually opening the leaves one by one. The leaves are wide with an apparent branched white main rib.
The pink radish has outstanding nutritional qualities, it is a great tonic, digestive and depurative thanks to it containing chicory and other bitter substances.
Very resistant to the cold, it is perfect for ennobling salads, fish dishes and meat with its taste and colour.
It has a delicate and very particular slightly bitter taste but well balanced by a pleasant sweet note.
